Memoria Trans SF

Memoria Trans SF is a space for the protection, construction, and vindication of trans memory. A project of artists Marcel Pardo Ariza and Julián Delgado Lopera, The mission of Memoria Trans SF is to gather and rescue documentary collections about the life history of the POC trans community in San Francisco, focusing on immigrant Latinx transgender history. The vision is to become a reference/documentary entity and a collective memory and celebration of trans identities. From the collected archive material-- and in collaboration with other artists and organizations--Memoria Trans SF creates art interventions: dinners, trans gatherings, art exhibitions, performances, publications and film screenings.
